Amanda says: “It is one thing to recite a Bible verse when life is plain sailing, but a whole different kettle of fish, when your sanity and survival hinge on your ability to live it 24/7”.
Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”, got a whole different meaning when, three and a half years later, Amanda was diagnosed with the debilitating and incurable neurological disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS). |
From living the “high-life” in South Africa and running her own widely successful Financial Planning practice with husband, Charl Grobbelaar, in January 2008 Amanda moved across the globe with her husband and two teenage children to start a new life Down Under.
Amanda has an authentic and relatable personal story. She will share snippets of her life journey with brutal honesty. Amanda says: “Life is not for the faint at heart. For some it is a journey, for others it is an obstacle course”.
Amanda has become the positive MS story she was originally searching for.
