Thank you so much Amanda Grobbelaar. Your story inspired me so much. Your strength and courage gave me hope. Your story is one I won't forget. I have your book on my bookshelf with my collection of favourite books. You are somebody that I look up to. Your testimony has and will change so many lives. When people feel like giving up you have given them this amazing hope to keep pressing on. YOU are the inspiration. #Heistheanchorofoursoul 💙💚💛

"I have just finished reading Anchored in the Storm and I literally could not put it down! What a tremendous testimony of faith, hope, love and determination. This is a must read!"
Melanie Margarey, 2017
"Amanda I am so blessed to have crossed paths with you! After reading your book Anchored in the Storm I have been able to put so many things in my life into perspective... We can have all the keys in the world, but if we do not have the key- God’s Word’- we have very little. Now I know how important it is for me to read the Word and know the Word as I can use the Word to get through each and every situation life throws at me. It is my armour of faith, hope and love! Gods Word is my key to eternal life! I love the story about the monkeys ( frog ) race. It is so true... I am really working hard on being deaf to negativity and watching what comes out of my mouth.. to speak life and not death.. Yes Amanda ... The best is yet to come- in Him we trust. You WILL echo “ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race and I have kept the faith! Stay blessed."

"Amanda, I have just read your book, in three days (a record for me) and was really blessed by it. I loved your raw honesty and your very positive commitment to trust God and believe in His goodness and good purposes and input in the whole process. It was exciting to see how He went before you so many times, and came behind you as well. Jo Swan very graciously gave me a copy for my birthday and I passed it on to a friend today, who I hope is as blessed by it as I was. Thanks and God bless."

"Wow. Two days, three events. Blessed and super filled with LOVE. I have met some powerful women of God. First, we had Amanda Grobbelaar for our Afrikaans Ladies tea then she tackled a second session sharing her heart-churning testimony. Words cannot describe how she challenged my heart and broke it open with each word she spoke. It really left a mark in my heart".
Charmaine Herbst, Bunbury, October 2015
"Dear Amanda, You probably have no idea who I am. We met at the women's conference at C3 church Mackay.
We sat next to each other both days. I am the girl from Germany with the father who has Multiple Sklerosis.
I know the conference was a long time ago, but I always wanted to thank you. You were so kind to me that day and said all the right things. I just want to thank you for that from the bottom of my heart!
When we arrived at home I directly looked at your website and just wanted to let you know that I admire how positive you are after all you went through. You are really inspiring.
I wish you and your family all the best and thank you again !!"

"Dear Amanda, I just wanted to thank you for your obedience to Christ in following Him and using your story to fully glorify our great and wonderful God. I heard you share in Bunbury on Friday night and was truly inspired. I wanted to catch up with you on Saturday at the conference - but you were certainly a woman in demand and I didn't want to interrupt :) When we were praying for you on Friday night, I really felt the Lord prompting me to pray for and encourage you that your testimony and God's miracles and grace upon your life will be passed down through your children. It will bless, challenge and inspire generations to come. I chickened out and questioned whether God would actually use me to speak such words, and maybe they were just my thoughts! But in reflection I thought I should encourage you in this, and say a huge thank you for continuing to shine God's light and love into the world where ever he places you. You are a blessing to many. Bless your little cotton sock, Kate Hollis x"

I am reading an Amazing book written by my new friend Amanda Grobbelaar.
She truly is a living miracle, and an absolute inspiration. To say her life and testimony will challenge and move you is an understatement.
To quote her " Then a good thing that I know the Captain of my ship. He has calmed many storms before"
Do yourself a favour and get a copy of her book!!

I received my book yesterday and couldn't wait to get home to read the Amanda Grobbelaar Story. I finished reading it last night feeling like a better person for reading your journey of pain, courage & faith Amanda. That attitude of yours is so contagious when we are with you and now you have put it in words to encourage others. You are such a blessing Amanda and I pray your monster has been beaten and will stay dormant forever. You have so many awesome quotes but I loved this one, this is who you are and I will place this on my heart: "To be grateful is a very powerful emotion. It is impossible to be grateful and sad at the same time. A grateful heart is truly a happy heart and a happy heart is a healthy heart" .
Love you Amanda 💕

In a spell-bounding moment, the next generation can face just about any situation by hearing Amanda speak about life's little and big curve balls. At its heart it is a testimony of love and faith, brokenness and healing. Amanda's testimony is utterly compelling, positive and encouraging. Amanda has the ability to connect with every heart in the room by telling the truth boldly in a simple and straightforward manner. I love how friendly and approachable she is no matter how difficult the questions to answer. Amanda has a professional and genuine nature. If you need encouragement and to be inspired, I recommend Amanda as a speaker at any event. You will feel uplifted in the light of her presence as she has a heart for others and loves unconditionally.

What an amazing speech! Thank you for an eye opener! God bless you. You're such an inspiration to all of us! Love your sparkle, girl.

Oh, dearest Amanda. I had tears running down my face. You did it again. You popped my world. I have struggled all week feeling pressed down. I knew I had to be daring this morning to remind me to keep getting up; that as mum we are vital to a family and that Satan will try to take the queen of the house out so that the rest of the family will crumble. Don't mess with this momma. Have the courage to choose life every moment. You nailed it.
Robyn Maher, Mackay, Australia
Well done on your speech today Amanda. As always an inspiration to a lot of women in Mackay. x

What a wonderful woman of God. Lord I pray that you keep Amanda and protect her heart to always be such an example to many as she puts You first in everything.
El-Dez Roets, Mackay, Australia
What a joy and blessing to read you had the chance again of sharing the Word. So proud of you. Would it not be wonderful if you could come back and preach in our church again? That would be a miracle, hey, which we look forward to.
Helen Dewing, Adelaide, South Africa
Have the courage to choose life in the good and bad. Way to preach up a storm Amanda Grobbelaar in Sarina this morning. I love it " Satan DON'T MESS WITH THIS MOMMA"! I love it when you said as soon as your feet touch the ground from sleeping Satan goes " oh no not her again"!
