Amanda attends New Life Church, Mackay under the leadership of pastors Craig and Tuppy Tomkinson and under the mentorship of pastors Ron and Anna Henry.

Amanda made the confession of faith in 1987 and went through the waters of Baptism on the 31st of December 2007.  It was her then 13 year old son Ewan’s wish to be baptized in South Africa, before immigrating to Australia 10 days later, on the 10th of January 2008.

​In line with the declaration of faith of the Australian Christian Churches,  Amanda believes in the Holy Trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Amanda believes that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

Amanda believes in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things.

​Amanda believes that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in our local Church and serve the community in which we live.

Amanda believes that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives to the benefit of others.

​Amanda believes that our eternal destination of either Heaven of hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ and that He is coming back again as He promised.

9 ”that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”.
