The Core of Amanda's message"Saul of Tarsus, a dedicated student of the Law of Moses, under the mentorship of one of the most respected Rabbis in the time of Jesus, had all the knowledge in the world, BUT until his conversion, he was not In Christ.
Saul, born into the right family, ticked all the “good Jew” boxes: He was from the stock of Israel; Circumcised on the 8th day; From the tribe of Benjamin; He referred to himself as a Hebrew of the Hebrews; Concerning the Law, he was a Pharisee, taught according to the strictness of their fathers’ law; Zealous toward God, like any other Jew of the day. But despite the above, he was not In Christ. Here is my observation: It is not the family we are born into, or the church we attend, or the knowledge we carry in our heads, or keeping the Law, that position us In Christ. We can only be In Christ when, by Grace and not our works, the Holy Spirit of God reveals to us who Jesus is and our heart accept it, and in faith and obedience we begin to walk in that truth. And, as since the beginning of time, some people will respond, and sadly some will not. It is only heart-knowledge that changes the way we think, speak and act". - Amanda Grobbelaar |
